Multimedia Report: Data Tips

Multimedia Reports aren't really "reports" at all. This is the section where you can upload photos, videos, art, and stories about your creek to let other Creek Freaks across the country know why this creek is special.

Latitude and longitude measurements are needed here so your content can be tagged to the correct stream site. If you are not sure of the exact coordinates for the site where you shot photos or video, use Google Maps to zero in on your location and its coordinates.

Ditto on the program name – it will help other Creek Freaks find you and your stories.

To upload a photo, click a “Select Media” button. This will take you to a screen where you can browse through your computer to find the photo you want.

To upload a video, post it first to YouTube. Then click a “Select Media” button below and click “Web” to put in the URL for your video.

The “Library” tab lets you pull in photos or videos that have already been uploaded to the Creek Freaks site.

To tell the story of your creek, scroll all the way down the Multimedia Reports page to find a large “Description” field – and get typing!
